Day 1 and 2 – The Adventure Begins!

June 28th

This afternoon we set off from Cary, North Carolina with excitement running high as we officially started our journey across the continent. Our goal for the day was modest but exciting: pack up, load the car and make our way to Asheville, NC, our first stop was Mariyah and Jibran’s home. 

June 29th

After a comfortable stay in Asheville we headed to Nashville, while enjoying one of the most scenic drives in America—the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway.  The drive did not disappoint. Winding roads, rolling mountain vistas, lush forests, and endless overlooks reminded us why the journey itself is often just as memorable as the destination. We made stops along the way to soak in the views, stretch our legs, and capture some photos of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains landscape that unfolded around every turn.

As the day progressed, we continued westward and arrived in downtown Nashville right on schedule. After checking into our hotel and getting settled, it was time to experience what Music City is famous for. The vibrant streets were alive with energy, music spilling from every corner, and countless restaurants tempting us with amazing Southern flavors. It was the perfect way to end our  day on the road.

Tonight we’ll rest up and recharge because tomorrow brings another full day of driving and exploration. More miles, new scenery, and exciting stops await as we continue our journey west across North America. The adventure is officially underway, and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
